Mouse is doing his homework along the hall in the electronic playroom study. He started with some fairly innocuous maths, but now he is doing his music composing. It sounds most peculiar from this end of the hall; he hums the same bit of tune over and over again with very small changes. Sometimes he makes little huffing noises – I don't know whether that's self-criticism or part of the tune. Perhaps it's the noise he associates in his head with a different instrument? At school he uses some rather expensive software for this, which we don't have at home but he seems to be managing along there with lots of clicks and taps and huffs and humming. Actually, it's a very happy sound.

  1. Wow, that is amazing. Is his school special in this way? I have never heard of a school having anything like that.
