Mouse’s music teacher gave him a piece of guitar music three days ago which he struggled to attempt – it’s in 6/8 time (which is quick-ish), is picked (he prefers chordal), and is traditional (rock god…remember?). I’m hugely impressed that in three days he’s got it recognisable. Although, in three more I may be so fed up of hearing it echoing along the hall that I’ll have to fit silencers to his guitar. However, on the plus side his music teacher is quite pleased with him, and perhaps it proves that he should have been trying some more challenging material a bit earlier.
