The sun is shining; I need the vitamin D

There will be plenty of time to blog in the long, dark, cold winter – right now the weather is still good, and we are walking in our free time. Today we walked around the Devil’s Beef Tub, near Moffat (a place with a remarkable amount of history attached, considering how far from anywhere it is); last week we walked along the Tweed to Dryburgh Abbey, where Walter Scott is buried, and the week before that we did the old drove road from Peebles to West Linton… I liked that one, it was predominantly flat, as opposed to today’s walk, which really wasn’t.

Handsome is whinging that he doesn’t know how well he’s doing, because I haven’t been blogging much recently – eight out of ten darling, there’s still room for improvement!
